Dear bp-users.

I’d like to announce that a minor version of B-Prolog, v6.0b, is available now from the web site www.probp.com. If you have purchased any license of 6.0, you are entitled to get an upgrade for free of charge.

The finite-domain constraint solver has been significantly improved again. In fact B-Prolog has become one of the fastest CLP(FD) systems now. Comparison results with Sicstus-Prolog, Eclipse, and GNU-Prolog are available from:

In addition to the improvement on the performance, the new version also provides several new built-in constraints originally available in CHIP for scheduling and packing problems. Please check the update notes for the details.
